  • being told they need to change but they don't know why
  • "You don't know what you don't know" - not knowing what kinds of technologies are available
  • having meaningful technology staff development
  • element of time

    • time to work as a team
    • get together with colleagues - not built into the day
  • rolling technology out without proper training as a tool for learning
  • providing administrators and teachers with reliable sources
    • every year there's something new
    • don't want to provide them with a resource that changes the following year
